The following is a brief overview of the newly published Luo Shu Oracle. This book contains material from the basic level to the intermediate and advanced stages. Many of the techniques in this book have never before reached the public at any time or any language. The Luo Shu Oracle is more than a reading manual, it is an educational text that is more comprehensive than any 9 Ki correspondence course on the market. It is also more complete than any seminar or workshop being offered today. Most internet courses and workshops will cost you several hundreds of dollars and often-times the price reaches into the thousands of dollars. You can rest assured that up to this point in time there is not, nor has there been, more relevant Luo shu information contained from any one source. After you read and study The Luo Shu Oracle, I feel confident in stating that you will not need to attend a seminar or workshop to further your learning.
After the Acknowledgments and Preface sections, the Introduction begins with chapter 1. This is the groundwork in getting you started in your Luo Shu adventures, and it gives you an idea of what the Luo Shu is and what it is about. There are a few basic charts in this chapter to help you along.
Chapter 2 is titled " The Basics". It gives details about the calculation processes involved in Luo Shu studies. It is important to understand the ideas in this chapter before moving on to higher grounds.
Chapter 3 contains many charts and diagrams that will be used throughout the book.
Chapter 4 is titled "The 9 Ki Numbers And Principles". This chapter begins to delve into the deeper aspects of 9 Ki and explains how to use only one of the Luo Shu numbers (i.e. the year) for your evaluations. It takes a look at and explains each of the nine energies and then takes each number and combines it with one of the four possible Earthly Branches it corresponds to. This chapter also explains the directional range for the numbers and branches as well as describing some Directionology principles.
The next chapter (5) is called " The 81 Ki Numbers And Principles". We are now beginning to go even deeper into the Luo Shu. We learn how the 9 segment Luo Shu expands or "blossoms" into 81 segments and how much more detailed our readings or analysis becomes. The 81 Ki allows us to look at two time periods combined (i.e. years and months) where the possibilities become much more numerous than the 9 numbers. In this chapter you will find all of the 81 charts that comprise the combined yearly and monthly energies.
Chapter 6 is titled "Personal Relationships And Direction Of Movement". The information in this section describes not only the compatible and incompatible relationships, but also gives a specific numerical rating that give us clues as to just how precise the combinations are. Again, the Luo Shu numbers are combined with the branches to give more definition to the rating under consideration. These charts can be used to analyze people, events, time periods, a specific situation in a person's life within a specified time frame, and many other uses you wish to evaluate. Its use is virtually limitless. The second portion of the chapter gives judgments and numerical ratings for specific directions you move toward or interact with.
Chapter 7 talks about the advanced uses of the Luo Shu and explains different ideas and the combining of different systems. It also shows how to use the Luo Shu and explains different methods and the combining of multiple systems. It also describes how to use the Luo Shu down to the day level by combining three numbers (year, month, day) to make our assessments. When you are able to penetrate the Luo Shu at this level you are on your way in becoming an advanced practitioner.
Chapter 8 is the heart of the book. It is titled " The Luo Shu Oracle Text". The information in this section is essential for advanced studies. It describes what has never been attempted in Luo Shu teachings. It renders a title and textual judgment for all 81 year/month combinations in addition to the 729 year/ month/ day judgments. It is similar to the I Ching hexagram and line judgments and gives more than twice as many judgments than the I Ching ( a total of 810 in all). This is the first time in history that text judgments have been attached to the Luo Shu numbers. After each Luo Shu combination judgment, there are specific numerical charts associated with the judgments, a total of 729 charts. These charts give a concise numerical value to the day level reading for extra meaning. Luo Shu analysis at this level is VERY detailed. It took more than three years to complete the information in chapter 8 alone. Most of this chapter was created through deep meditation, fasting, and dream interpretation. It is the most accurate method of Luo Shu studies I have ever known of.
The book then ends with a Conclusion and a Further Information section.
